BYE or APT

Very quick question - should I get Backyard EOS or Astro Photography Tool to manage my 50D?

:) Slightly longer version of the same question - I have a 50D, thinking about getting a 60Da. I also have ED80/EQ6 Pro/ST80/Orion Starshoot AutoGuider/PHD/Asus EEPC. Which DSLR camera control software should I get and why?

Both will serve you well - i have both but admit i really only use apt.

If you ask someone using APT they will respond APT is the best....and someone with BYE...they will respond accordingly that BYE is the best.

They are both great and have similar features and functions.

I use APT only because it was on the market earlier than BYE;)

BYE has a very nice gui, easy to use and feels kwel :)
APT has way more features though the gui sucks and feels blend.

~$16 for apt and $38 for bye with ascom plugin, don't be a tightass and get both lol, hell thats only a slab of beer these days :)
