I have just got my computer back with anew hard drive and I cannot download the latest Flash Player:mad2:
I follow all the instructions then when it comes to installing the download it gets to 12% then times out :confused2:
I have tried different downloads from the net plus from the site which says I need to download flash player and it still gets to 12% then stops.:mad2:
I had version 10.11 on my computer but the computer said it was not there so I uninstalled version 10.11 thinking it would down load the latest version but to no avail :shrug::shrug:
:help::help::help:
:thanx: in advance ;)
cheers:thumbsup:

Hey Ron,
What operating system and what browser are you using ie Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome? And do you have problems with any other website?

Flash is evil, but unfortunately used everywhere.
Are you getting it direct from Adobe? http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Interesting. I downloaded the latest Linux version with no problems.
On trying to get the Windoze one get.adobe.com was slow as a wet week, and then a 503 error and:
Agree it looks like they have a problem.

So Andrew, do you think it is the reason that I cannot complete the flash player down load as untill I tried to go through the website that was the first time I had any message that they had a problem :confused2:

Hi,
Another thing I have found to cause aborted downloads, from various sources, is not being logged in as an Admin user.
Apparently some downloads will start running installers or something which crash for a non-Admin identity.
I don't know specifically about Flash Player tho.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys :thanx: It seems the problem was that the site was down:mad2:
I wish they would tell you when you are trying to download instead of saying timed out, and that is it
Cheers
