Hello,

Well we finally managed to get a windless, clear and reasonable night on Sunday. We setup the Astrograph in the backyard after carting the heavy stuff downstairs doing havoc to my poor surfers back :P

Imaged NGC253 (an old favourite).
8" Newtonian Astrograph. f/4.
Unguided NEQ6pro
Pentax K-x @ 1600 iso.
2 minute subs x 10 + flats + darks and Bias frames.
Processed with DSS 3.3beta PS CS2.

Balnarring has a rather good night sky. There was a blue hue during the night but after 2330hrs the hue changed to a deep red. I considered an Aurora but I figured maybe all the domestic lighting went off

Regards Paul. :)

Thank you Leon and Ross

Ngc253 is an object that tests the ability of your scope to pick out detail I think!

Regards Paul.

Not sure yet, Paul. Less than 50 percent at this stage.
