Anyone managed to get avistack to work under OS x or later?

tried the instructions on the site including the ddl etc, no joy

I tried and got part of the way through. Very convoluted IIRC. Most of the hassle wasn't with Avistack itself per se, but the prerequisites IDL etc I think. Registax on VMWare Fusion/WinXP much, much quicker and simpler.
