Takahashi has release a new series of rather expensive eyepieces called the Tak-UW Series. These eyepieces were designed to be used with the flat field FSQ's, Corrected Mewlons, Mewlons with MCR correctors. FS-60Q's and TOA's with flatteners and other flat field telescopes. These aplanatic eyepieces are free of coma and spherical aberration.

They are available in four focal lengths: 3.3, 5.7, 7 and 10mm to offer a wide range of magnifications with the same ultra wide flat 90 field and have an 12mm of eye relief and an extendable eyecup for maximum shielding from stray light.

Price for the 5.7mm is quoted at $995 USD :eyepop:

Look at the bright side Hans, they are less expensive than the Nikon HW oculars <http://www.kkohki.com/English/kkohkiparts.html#Nikon%20HW%20eyepi eces> which cost about $AUS1,200 each. To be fair, each Nikon HW comes with its own matched `mini barlow' so you get two focal lengths for your outlay. :D

For that price I would expect a 3D image:D.
