QHY8 and EZplantary, Can they be used together

I have notice EZplantary software on the QHY Web Site and have just purchase a used QHY8 for my imaging. Will the QHY8 work with this software to use on planets? I am guessing not as the camera saves in FIT format. I was originally thinking that single images could be recorded and converted to TIF and then stacked, but this looked like another option if it works. Thought I would ask before I bothered to download it.
