Hello, just to add to the masochism that is astronomy in the land of the permanent off white cloud (Tassie) I decided to see if my new modded webcam (thank you IIS Pete) would work with Equinox Pro. I trawled through the net and it said it would if you download drivers from IOXperts USB to Mac OS X drivers that is.
Well, did that and I can't get the sucker to work. No sir, not even a registration of camera. And I did register both products.
Before I plunge into the depths of macastronomer I thought I would canvass an opinion in this group.
By the way the camera worked fine in Desire so the camera is not the issue.
So anyone any ideas?
Good job I have another hobby, Gurning!
Listening to The Sadies new album and regretting lighting the fire as it's now bloody 26'c inside and my biros are expunging.
regards Graham

Macam does provide webcam support which Equinox is able to connect to.

You need to copy the macam component into the quicktime folder:-

Your boot drive:Library:Quicktime:

Macam is available here:-

http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/

I have tested E6 with a Dino-Lite (Sonix SN168). It works. Mac OSX.5
