Hi Barry,
I searched everywhere but could not find if Stellarium works with DST. After comparing the sun's position with the program, I've decided that it does. Is there anywhere that DST can be turned on or off?
Also, congrats. on 10.6 - excellent visual interface, great improvement on what I though was already excellent.

It uses the system time by default.
"Configuration" (or the F2 key)
"Plugins"
"Time Zone" (if "load at startup" is not ticked, tick, go to the "Main" tab and "Save settings", restart and get back to here)
"configure"
Pick an option and "Save settings" when happy.

Hi Robert
I think Andrew has given the information.
Daylight saving could always be set from the config.ini file but it was awful messy to get working right.
As of release 0.10.6.1 there is a plug in that will allow you to set Stellarium to any time zone with an adjustment for daylight saving.
My latest update patch is:

Hi Andrew, Barry,
Many thanks. Its amazing how one thing leads to another. I was actually trying to establish where excatly true north lies on my property.
Right now its clear skies and I'm getting out my scope for the first night's viewing in ages. :D:D:D I think I can cope with the moon.
