Woke up this morning after an excellent weekend of 12 km montain hikes, good food and wine and some serious shopping.

With the real deal, gen-u-ine, no bull Flu !

I ache from top to bottom, sore throat, hot flushes, hot itchies, thick head, the works. Went to Doc, she said that's the week for you, here's a note. Now I like some time at home to do some stuff that gets missed but I've got absolutely no energy at all and all I want to do is sleep. Can't even think straight to plan the next project or modification. At least it's cloudy so I'm not missing viewing time.

Bloody worst case of Man Flu I've ever heard off! AND from a Kiwi.

You are obviously married, and you've only found sympathy here, on the net!

Why is it that our wive's don't get how deadly serious the Man Flu is?

Just because they push out watermelons, we men-folk don't suffer excruciating and dibilitating ailments that would KILL lesser life forms?

Gee, it's hard being Super Man all the time. :mad2:

Just one thing, Zero, pass it on to me, even through the Trade Winds, and I WILL hunt you down, and use you as burly for sharks.

Oh boy, you must have known the girls were going to smell this post out and hunt it down didn't you?

Oh please, you men just don't know what suffering is.

The home is for charity, not sympathy. You'll get sympathy for under $10 in a Hallmark card.

We take nothing you say seriously (see below).

That's because you men moan and whine just pulling a wheely bin out on to the kerb. When a cockroach enters the room, you guys go crazy first, When you cut yourself shaving (oh wait, many are too scared to so they use electric). Just a few reasons without thinking too hard why we take nothing you say too seriously.

Throw a fur dress on, grab a club in your hand, and throw your wife over your shoulder ... then we might start to take you seriously.

Errrr, no comment on that one. Would you like Panadol for pain relief in case he hits you back?

hehehe. Sorry couldn't help but have a bit of fun with that (I'm sure you expected it) :P

Them is fight'n words, missy!

Your bite have better be BIGGER than your bark!

As I don't hit girls, I'll send in my missus.

Hmmm, on second thoughts, you two would probably gang up on us fellas, again!

Zero, the words in the last sentence of my previous post still stand, buddy.

PS, Suzy, I DON'T use an electric, :D , and don't cut myself, much.

Don't send the missus, I only have 3 long fingernails at the moment and a laptop as a defence shield. :face:

Uhmm, as I like the smell of strawberries and it will give my cheeks a healthy glow, I'll perhaps choose the Jelly option. That's on my plate of course. We are talking about spoon fights naturally.  And if she gets my hair wet she will be in big trouble mister.:mad2: I have 2, no never mind. I'll just be mad ok.

Crumbs, I think I'm glad I'm on the far side of the continent, let alone the far side of the ditch!

Seriously though - rest up and don't push it, Brent. I've at least twice tried to keep going through similar illnesses and it's only made it worse! Hope you get well soon.
