Sydney skies clearing at last!!!

Finally after weeks of shocking weather it looks like i can finally get my scope out tonight!!! Hopefully i will be able to see saturn for the first time this year.

It didn't last in Sydney. Clouded over fully before 10.30pm :(

its clear now im looking at saturn. the rings r opening up.

ditto in Melbourne. First patch of cloud moved thru around 2.15am, right on moonset, followed by the main course around 3-3.30am :mad2:

did get a productive session in though, despite this and fairly ordinary seeing.
