Graceful Tree Frog (Litoria gracilenta)
only grows to 40-45 mm long.much smaller than what it
appears in this image.
I took this on Monday night, just before we got another 5 inches of rain.
Very distinctive call- aaaare, aaaare.
Skin under chin buldges out when out call made, looks like bubble gum
being blown.
I wonder who chose this for Brisbane's Fauna Emblem?
Taken using a 60 mm Macro lens and a 50D (all canon) and a ex 430 Flash
with a plastic $2 diffuser.
