Hmmm.....pluses an minuses......

Minuses first.

The imaging section on the CD deals almost totally with film imaging using either slide or negative and then scanning them into a computer. Very little o do with ccd imaging. Still it is informative, just disappointing as it wasn't what I was expecting.

While you could try to print the book off the CD it would take you forever as you would have to print each and every page from your browser. I couldn't find a way to print it in one go. This would have been nice to be able to do as often having a hard copy manual, especially for some of the processing techniques would be handy for referencing. Just my preference, it doesn't seem to bother others

Great theory on colour, how we percieve colour and how different software and peripheries deals with colour. Essential reading if you really want to get those images to print out looking as they do on your screen and not as how your printer thinks it should colour them.

Great step by step procedures with photoshop for dealing with common processing needs with sample images for some processes for you to work along with.

Useful information on how to store/save your images so you can find them again and so you don't loose information by saving them in the wrong format

Overall I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars out of 5

BTW I bought mine from the states. By the time I paid for it and got it delivered here and had a bit of a look at it I thought it was a bit overpriced

A couple of comments:
1. From the feedback so far I think I'll save my $80 to spend on other things.
2. I would STRONGLY discourage discussion on the open forum on copying propriatory CD's. If you need to discuss these things....take them off line and do via PM's or something!!!
