MAC operating system

What are the similarities or differences between the Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems? I dont know much about how the mac system. cam someone help me?????

r u interested in how the OS operates in the background? or are you thinking how you use the software as an end user?
i am thinking the latter - most actual software runs the same - though there is less MAc compatible software,

i find things like searching/deleting easier on my mac -the file system is organised better - you install pkg or images - but the mac software handles it for you - its very easy.
I switched about 5yrs ago - took me about 2 months to really know the system..now i would never go back - i would have a linux box before a WIN system. people at work with PC's ask me to help & it gives me the willy's working out how to do stuff - i am much happier with a mac - though i must say win7 is catching up - vista was terrible
