G'day

Being absolutley hopeless with modern technology I need some help:help3: A few days ago I tried to place a image on the forum downloaded from my digital camera. Apparently the file size of my pic was too large of something to that effect??? How can I get an image to fit on the forum?

Sorry if I don't know what im talking about I am just barely computer literate :P

welcome to the club.
I actually had to get knowledgable on this subject from a different angle, I found that with dialup the images needed to be small enough to send/receive.
It depends on what software you have.
I use Photoshop and the "Save for Web" command within this. I am sure some other and more clever guys will help you here.

for Faststone Photo Resizer. Works a treat. Just resize your pics down to less than 100k. I do mine @ around 640 x 480 or 400 x 300, ~10 to 30k, sometimes a bit smaller. :thumbsup: :D L.

If you're using XP there's an image resizer powertoy, free from Microsoft allowing resizing from explorer with only a couple of clicks. There's even a how to here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/index.php?id=63,212,0,0,1,0

pretty piece of glass at the beginning there Mate, drool drool wipe . Seems a bit out of place on the refractor, image works fine
