Does anyone know of a plug in for Maxim that overlays crosshairs on an image? I use my camera for alignment now and some sort of guide on an image to show the centre would be v useful.

Al (sheeny) has designed a focus reticle (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=62932&highlight=Als+reticle)that doubles up nicely for that purpose it just floats on the screen and can be used with anything, it's even adjustable for brightness.

Pete,

Its a standard feature of MaxIm DL
Right click on an image and select "Crosshairs" works for me !

They will remain on until you toggle them off again
Depending on your image size you may have to be centred to see them.

Thanks everyone - I am a novice with Maxim and hadn't twigged to that feature. Every time I look at Maxim, I find something new. Like looking under the bonnet of an old VW beetle and finding a smart Porsche engine.
