I've Just finished reading 'First Light' by Richard Preston, it contained a lot of Hale Telescope history. Google led me to this ...

You're right, this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxp6aMhoT9U&feature=related) has a (tiny) bit more in the end.

When the 3.8m up at Sidings Springs is recoated in the vacuum chamber, sometimes
it is accompanied by some mirrors of smaller aperture.
