I have aquired some filters with lenses off some old film cameras.
I have
2 Hoya 49mm Skylight (1A)
1 Hoya 49mm UV(0)
1 Kenka 55mm Skylight (1A)
1 Photax 55mm UV
Are they any good for anything at all or should they be relegated to the landfill ?

If nothing else, they stop the front element from getting dusty and scratched. The 55s would fit my Sony. :D

Except for the old lenses they dont fit anything I have either too big or too small to fit my eyepieces.

They don't fit anything telescope and aren't worth spending the money on 2 step down rings (49 to 48 and 55 to 48). I would sell them on Ebay. They aren't worth a lot but you will get a few $$$$ for them which saves them going to landfill. They are useless for astronomy IMO.
I have done that with some old camera filters and found some gratefull buyers who were looking for exactly what I was selling.
Cheers,
