I am very new at the Go-To caper although I have been using an EQ mount with a Celestron 90mm at night for 4 years.
On my new scope and mount it states in the instructions that there is software available to control the go-to mount. What is it called?

I can answer my own question now.
Nexremote from Celestron or Astroplanner.
Nothing like a bit of research.

With the right cable, connectors and software you can drive your hand controller, and thus your mount, using ASCOM 5.5 (the freeware, general purpose astronomy abstraction communications software layer) from any popular astronomy program, from the freeware Cartes du Ceil all the way up to the expensive The Sky X Professional Edition.

Suggest Google ASCOM http://ascom-standards.org/Downloads/Index.htm

and Cartes Du Ceil http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/download.html

These abstraction layers and more powerful telescope pointing systems offer alot more joy then the boring Nexremote!
