Hi All,
I have been searching for some video capture software for a specific task, but to no avail.
I want to do some time lapse work. But rather than the usual catch 1 frame every x minutes, for example, I want to be able to tell it to capture a few seconds of video from my vid camera every x minutes.

All the time lapse stuff I have seen only captures a single frame at the desired time interval where I want a short video captured from my DMK camera on a regular basis.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Bill D

Hi Bill

You might be able to use Virtual Dub - you could use the command line mode and write some script to do it.

You'd have to do some reading of the documentation to see how it works, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

K3 has the ability to program a sequence of recording and wait periods

Isnt also possible with the DMK capture software?

Hi and thanks,
Hmm i was having a look at the DMK software but with the time lapse, I could only see how to get it to capture single frames at intervals. Maybe I missunderstodd the screens, I will have another look when I get home tonight (and maybe even read the help text ;) ).

Thanks iceman,
Wow Virtualdub, thats a name from the past, I had forgotten that it even existed. I will check that out too.
