Observing on Saturday......will not happen in Sydney due to weather and clouds.

So I have one question, who bought the new thing? you know what I'm talking about, the bit that will change your astronomy experience for the foreseeable future, who's fault is it?

Do we need to speak to our respective retailers and ask them to shut doors near the new moon weekends, thus preventing ourselves from causing less than desirable observing conditions.

Causality must be real when it comes to telescopes, as last year, during the IYA, how many cloudy nights was there? reason....people buying stuff.

And all I did, was buy a book and also merely suggested the possibility of making a equatorial platform, Nothing even designed yet and defiantly not of a caliber to alter weather surely...........
So own up, who bought the really good thing!

Anyway I'm feeling better after my little rant.

One day the skies may clear up over there Trent but your on the coastline with loads of water vapour.

Hop over the other side of them mountains and you,ll be fine.

Cheers Kev.

In Sydney, my money is on Tuesday night (09/02/2010) :) ... then we're back watching the grass getting out of control for another week or so.

Kev it sounds to me like your trying to bring logic into the equation. :)

I'm with you Marc. I have high hopes for Tuesday night! Additionally, I have to come clean. It was me who bought all of the astro gear two weeks ago...guidescope, autoguider, rings etc. It has been cloudy / raining ever since my toys arrived.

It was Frank (telecasterguru), he bought a G11 and RC, all his fault this rain, then he has the hide to ask what to cover it with to protect it from the weather. Damn fool, he should have just left his money in his wallet and we would all be looking up at clear skies.:P:lol::lol:
