Observing on Saturday......will not happen in Sydney due to weather and clouds.
So I have one question, who bought the new thing? you know what I'm talking about, the bit that will change your astronomy experience for the foreseeable future, who's fault is it?
Do we need to speak to our respective retailers and ask them to shut doors near the new moon weekends, thus preventing ourselves from causing less than desirable observing conditions.
Causality must be real when it comes to telescopes, as last year, during the IYA, how many cloudy nights was there? reason....people buying stuff.
And all I did, was buy a book and also merely suggested the possibility of making a equatorial platform, Nothing even designed yet and defiantly not of a caliber to alter weather surely...........
So own up, who bought the really good thing!
Anyway I'm feeling better after my little rant.
