I seemed to have got everything else working but not DSLR Focus
wifi connected
maxim connects and controls the camera
stellarium appears to working (note there is a new version of stellarium scope)
however with DSLR Focus it activates the shutter and then hang
tried varying com ports (no apaprent conflict)

DSLR Focus doesn't work on Vista (from my experience) so I suspect it wouldn't work on Windows7.

Try running FocusMax. I'll be dammed if I can get it to work on a 64 bit windows 7 machine.

I tried out the latest V for you and got it running fine in Vista sp2 mode.
It is important tho that your hardware supports virtual machine mode and that it is actually enabled in bios. Other thing I did was install using vista comp mode as well.
good luck.

You should be able to use Virtual Box it is free and does work on machines that don't support VM mode the only thing is you will need a valid XP licence to install xp in it.
