Adelaide has gone a bit Panda crazy lately as we have two visitors
staying at our zoo and the town is buzzing a bit over it.
This made me revisit one of my many favourite blogsites, The Panda's
Thumb (http://pandasthumb.org/), which is a very interesting scientific integrity blog devoted to
evolution and related topics.
It also made me revisit this site (http://www.athro.com/evo/pthumb.html) which gives a fascinating explanation to
the site's namesake: The Panda's opposable 'thumb'.
This story is an interesting quirk about the workings of evolution.
