hi all i used registax v5 to prosses an image of jupiter that was 1437 frames long with each frame being at 1/300 sec the file size was about 612mb why was it taking 3 hours to optimise and stack and what can i do to make it quicker.

I think this is only got to do with the speed of your pc? others correct me if im wrong, but how long does it take you to stack other objects?

hmm no idea then perhaps there is just a lot of data to process , just let it run at night or something
