The IAU Committee on Small Bodies Nomenclature has approved
the name "Weywot" for the satellite of the transneptunian minor
planet (50000) Quaoar that was announced on IAUC 8812 (cf. MPC

From Wiki:

Weywot (pronounced /ˈweɪwɒt/ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:IPA_for_English), Tongva [weiwot] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:IPA)) is the sky god (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_god) of the Tongva (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongva) people, son and first creation of the creator god Quaoar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quaoar_%28mythology%29). The Tongva have reportedly chosen the name Weywot for the moon of the likely dwarf planet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarf_planet) Quaoar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50000_Quaoar), which was named after the creation god.

Poor rocks, being plastered with names almost as outragous as that of a celebrity baby's

I personally would prefer "Heywot".

That would make things interesting to see a few asteroids named that way.

We could have a "Honeydew Moonbeam" or "Sunday Roast" ;)
