Does anyone know of a trick or hack to pause a running sequence in maxim?

You only seem able to stop a sequence and it would be nice if you could pause it so as not to create the numbering errors that seem to follow a stop, for me anyway. I'm still using maxim 4 to capture.

Exactly how did this topic appear in google within 30 minutes :confused2:

So you can't do it ... bugger.

It can be done, though I've not used it. Check the help file.

Resume Sequence is available only if the previous sequence was stopped prematurely, either by the operator clicking the Stop button or by the occurrence of an error. Selecting this option causes the sequence to continue from the point of interruption. Any exposure in progress when the sequence was stopped is repeated from the beginning, even if the camera supports the Pause feature. During a sequence interruption you can (re)focus or take individual images using the Expose tab, but certain actions cause will prevent the resumption of the sequence. These include starting a new sequence, clicking OK in the Setup Sequence or Setup Mosaic dialogs, and enabling mosaicing.

I have wondered this as well, but normally just abort, and start afresh.
