I just wanted to thank Eric (Erick) for his idea and open invitation to get on board with his DGM Optic filters order from the US.

Mine has arrived safely but alas the weather isn't being kind for testing it. But bring on the rain, it'll always be clear another night!!

'Twas a pleasure - even if I have a few more grey hairs when the shipment got stuck somewhere in transit for a couple of weeks.

I'm still waiting impatiently for a chance to test the OIII filter I bought from them - the desire to have one started the idea.

It's possible I'll go again later this year depending on the exchange rate and my bank balance. I really want to try another of their filters.

May I ask what filters you bought?
I'm just planning to buy an DGM Optics NPB filter and any purchase experience from others would be helpful.

Yes, Omega sell the DGM optics filters - I think they might have bought them out, or whatever.

The DGM npb filter is excellent! Search the threads here and you'll see nothing but positive comment. Search the classified and you'll find none for sale unless someone wants to change size - that tells you something!

Eric and I tied up to purchase the DGM npb filters some time ago, Eric did a deal on some 2nd quality items and between the two of us we found nothing that affected their performance, The Great Nebula in Orion was my first OH WOW factor but the detail shown with the npb filter is breathtaking.
A great investment, Thanks again Eric. ( I am dirty that you moved house, but as soon as I can move around again I will Call )
