A swan and an eagle looking to eat trifid by the lagoon.;)

12x 5min subs, plus darks and flats, stacked with DSS, a bit of post processing in PS CS2.

This is from an unmodded Canon 1000d with the "kit" 55-250 IS lens.

It took 25 exposures to capture 12 "usable" frames.

I think it is called "periodic error" :screwy:. The camera is strapped to an ETX125 which is not the most ideal astrophotography mount, but it works if you kick it hard enough.:lol:
