I am using Photoshop Elements.
I have stitched two deep-space images together but there is a visible line between them.
What tool and how do I use it to blend this line out so it is not so visible?
Baz.
Baz, off the top of my head, maybe try the healing brush.
Can you post a sample?

Hi Andrew, heres a screenshot save of current work.
Use the lasso selection tool to select the whole left hand side.
Then adjust the brightness & contrast to match the right hand side.
On my monitor I adjusted the brightness to -87 and the contrast to +14 and it matched quite up well.
Have a play with the numbers and see what looks good on your monitor.

Thanks Andre, not ideal, but it seemed to work good enough.
Cheers for that mate, I appreciate your help.
Baz.

Look though the thread on mosaic software.

One of the programs mentioned there will probably do want you want. AutoPano Pro will both align and adjust the levels. I don't know about the others.

I use Hugin for pano/mosaic software. It's free and does a really good job.
