Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help with the following.

In one of the recent posts about the impact mark on Jupiter, there was a link provided to some freeware which shows you the position of Jupiter's moons. I don't think it was the Jupiter 2  freeware which I already have on my computer.

I unfortunately can't find the post, due to the sheer number of posts about the impact.

Thanks in advance.

Paul Floyd.

WinJuPos is the one people are using to calculate times of the bird strike transits, and it does an ephemeris and video simulations for the major moons.

Thanks for the suggestion.

That isn't it unfortunately. I can vaguely picture the website in my mind ... but not enough to remember the name of it.

Thanks,

Paul Floyd.

Hi Paul

Does Jupiter 2 not give you the information you're after?

I use it all the time for moon positions and timings.

It does give me the information. I guess I would love to know if it was the software refered to in one of the many posts about the impact.

Cheers,

Paul Floyd.

Maybe you were thinking of JupSatPro. It is not a freeware however but this is all I can think of or remember. Just have a quick look; Steven
