Hi John
I asume you mean version 0.10.2. Is it a new installation or has it just stopped working.
If it is a new installation. What are the details of your computer. particularly the video display. Most of the video cards need the latest drivers to handle the improvements in OpenGl.
Has the program generated a log file, located in the same folder as the config.ini file in the documents and settings area or in root directory "log.txt" This may give some idea where the program has stalled.
Give me as much info as you can and i will try to direct you in the right direction.

Stellarium runs fine on my Netbook, with an Intel GMA450 display so thats where i use it most.
On my HTPC, with a 1Gb Radeon 4850, it runs, but the menu's are all screwed up and its only because i know where things are in the first instance that i can use it, the drivers are 2 weeks old.
On my 17" laptop, with an Nvidia 9600GT it doesnt run at all, it starts up and locks the entire machine, causing a restart, the drivers are a couple of weeks old.
at any rate, alot of people are using drivers now, that are way newer than version 10.2 of Stellarium.
I just dont think it likes some video adapters, and seems to thrive on the bear-bones intel stuff.

Hi John
That appears to be a problem with the video driver. Nvidia are usually good but I had to upgrade my stand by computer that has a Nvidia built in card when I loaded version 0.10.2. There was a later driver available and I installed it. Everything worked OK then. The driver needs a date later than September 2008
I checked your log file against a working installation and you have actually reached the last section where the Gui interface comes into play which points directly to the video driver being a problem.
There are acouple of bugs in 0.10.2 that have been corrected in the svn.
