I've imaged the Corona Australis nebulae several times previously and each time the core of the NGC 6726 nebula is over exposed by the two bright stars near the nebula core. Any detail that might be there is hidden.
In these new images of NGC 6726 I set out to create an image that would show the inner region of the nebula. I used the imaging processing mask technique to reveal details in the inner core and produced two new images that show the detail I wanted to see.
So here's the image http://www.skylab.com.au/pmsa/ngc6726_pg2.html
Clear Skies
