Stitching avi's together

Does anyone know of a freeware program for stitching .avi's together?

Some adult sites provide stitching programs. All you need to type in is "avi stitching" in a google search and you will find something. Don't ask me how I found out this. LOL

Paul, Virtual Dub can do it.. I read in your other thread that you've already got it and used it for deleting some frames.. well you can also use it to join AVI's together.

Just open the first avi, then go file->append avi segment (or something like that), and choose the other avi's.. when you open it, it will say something like "open 5 segments".. my memory fails me.

Then just file -> Save as and away you go..

You can also use "Bink and Smacker" (http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm), which is what I use most of the time. Just run it, open the first avi, and if they are named in a sequence (like "saturn1.avi" "saturn2.avi" "saturn3.avi" etc), then it will ask you whether you want to treat them as a single avi.

Click yes, then I click "convert", set the options you want, and I choose uncompressed, and save as a new avi.

Thanks guys, especially the infor about Vertual Dub Mike. Yes I have it (for all of two days) so haven't had the opportunity to get to know it yet. But then I guess that's what these forums are for, hey, picking each others brains for these little learning sortcuts.

Yes I am single, well sort of I think, well there is a woman asleep in my bed right now and I have known her for 13 years but she does not live here, only on weekends. The rest of the time she is nagging me to death for some stupid thing I have said. Does that mean I am single or am I deluding myself??????????
