So now I have a Baader 7nm Ha filter and a couple of hours of data from last night ... how do I process the images ... is there a particular way to approach this as it seems quite different to normal colour image data ?
Any tips are welcome
Thanks in advance

Have a look here (http://astronomyonline.org/Astrophotography/Advanced_Topics/ColorImagingOfNebulasUsingHydrogenA lphaData.PDF). Also here (http://www.robgendlerastropics.com/LRGB.html) especially at the section "filtered luminance layering"
Another useful site is this one (http://starizona.com/acb/ccd/software/ps_hargb.aspx)

Steve what filter do you use for HA and do you need to change camera settings if using a modified DSLR

1.25 inch Baader 7nm Ha filter ... I don't know about using Ha filters on DSLR's mate ... you're probably best to post a Thread asking other members.

Either a 2" filter on the prime focus adapter or a clip-in filter on the DSLR.
