Quick description: captures Canon live view images as an mjpeg AVI over USB.

It seems promising, for solar/lunar/planetary at least.

A quick forum search here didn't get any hits.

I was going to try this tonight......but we had cloud cover in Perth....If its clear tomorrow I will try it and let you know how it goes...
I did a test with the 40D around the house and it looks ok.......

Quite a bit of info in thread from last month here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=41188).

I was quite pleased with results on Saturn for the Titan transit. For planetary you need to make sure you've to it in 5x zoom mode (or at least I did for my F5 Newt).

Bit fiddley getting off the Russian site, but definitely worth a play! :thumbsup:
