Hi guys,

I have been able to do the exposures( 1 under 1 over and 1 normal exposure) and combine them in PS CS3 but once combined I cant seem to edit or enhance the image such as curves etc...
These features are not highlighted whilst the image is open.

What is the best way to process HDR images...???
What process do you use to complete your image...???

Thanks in advance.

the reason you can't edit them is because they are in 32 bit. Go to IMAGE - MODE - and change it to 16 bit. A window will appear where you can play around with but I usually leave it as is, click ok and now you should be able to work with it no problems.

Thanks Ashley,

I was expecting something far more difficult so thanks.

not a problem.

I think I've had this happen to me a few times now.

Spot on Ashley.
Once you convert to 16 bit you'll be able to use the extra features just like normal images.

I really like using PS CS3 for HDR.
A lot of people also like using a program call Photomatix.

I like using Dynamic Photo from mediachance (a workable demo is available). Lots of options to easily create pseudo HDR effects as well.

Wow telemarker I love the colours in that shot !
Transitions are so smooth with great detail.

Thanks, the original was so bland (see below) I had to do something with it. It was a single RAW image so I ran it through DynamicPhoto and had a play with some of the options. Much more pleasing :D

Tony, if you save the image in photoshop as a HDR image you can open it in Dynamicphoto to do the tone mapping. This might be worth a try.
