A Question for the G11 ownwers/users

Hi All, this question is probably for the G11 owners, but anyone, please feel free to suggest your opinion.

My intention is to capture some data over a couple of nights, as the object that I'm after dosen't give me enough data for a single nights run, before it sinks to low.

My intention is to image for as long as possible, than send the scope home, and close it down, and the next night Warm Restart the Gemini, will that bring me back to the position I was the night before.

You haven't actually asked a question Leon??
This is from the Gemini manual though-
“Cold Start” clears the current modeling data, and should be used whenever the mount has been moved from its polar alignment after a previous observing session. The mount must be in Startup Position during a Cold Start.
“Warm Start” preserves the modeling data but not the current telescope position data. It should be used if the mount has not been moved since the last observing session, but the telescope has been moved on the mount. The mount must be in the Startup Position during a Warm Start.
“Warm Restart” preserves all modeling and position data. This should be used if no movement of the mount or telescope has occurred since the last observing session. This is especially useful for permanent installations, multi-night star parties, and daytime observing if you aligned your mount the night before.

Yep. Warm Restart will do the trick Leon. Make sure you keep the Tak CAA at the same angle and leave the camera attached.

Thank You gentlemen I did think this would be the case, but have never done this before, so i figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, just to be sure.
