Yesterday I decided to map my horizon in Astroplanner. Despite taking a bit of time to slew the EQ around 360 deg the result was worth it as I now have a "visibility" filter. The result is a bit depressing thought - a lot of the sky is obscured by trees or the house (the green shaded bit is not visible from my location).
Might have to sell up and move to the country

Hi.. did you see my thread where I posted my AstroPlanner horizon as well? Also depressingly small.. Took me about 20 min at a guess.

Yes - I've been meaning to do this for some time and your thread prompted me to get into action. I'm discovering all sorts of things that I didn't know Astroplanner could do. It really is a neat bit of software.
We should start a poll on who has the worst horizon.

I'm always interested in comparing notes, as I said in my thread.
I have to say, your visible sky looks even smaller than mine
Edit: I might have to take back that statement! But it's a close call.
