Hi there,

I have heard of Damian and seen some if his wondeful images. I'm just starting out in CCD planetary imaging and was looking for a tutorial resource. I came across this and was wondering if anyone has seen it and can give me there thoughts on it before I spend the money.

Cheers

Hi Rene

I'm not sure that anyone locally here has got it, but I've seen a few people talk about it on CN. It appears to be a good guide for a beginner, and if you're just getting started you'll probably pick up lots of hints and tips in it to get you started.

One person did say it took a while to come to them.

Don't forget there's a few planetary imaging tutorials here on IceInSpace in the articles (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?projects) section.

Hi Rene
I have the DVD have watch it once. I think for a beginner you will get same good tips. The tutorials hear the one that Iceman write is probably just as good as the DVD . Check it out.

I bought this and it did take some time to get here, but that was due to strike action in the UK. I think Mike and others here have covered most of the topics on this DVD in the tutorials on IIS. If you prefer video learning to reading documents then it may serve you well. Its a watch once DVD, that covers the basics quiet well. I found out a few bits and pieces of information that i did not know previously about Registax.
I hope in the not so distant future we will have similar material from the local guru's also in video format. Youtube would be a good option for sharing this. The few bits and pieces i picked up where those small things experts tend to not mention as the seem obvious. But in a video demonstration you can see these steps.
