MEPIS Linux

Anyone else out there using MEPIS Linux ? Just running it on this machine as a trial, looks good and quicker than Windoze. Still to find out what it will and won't run, but impressed so far.

hey, can you post some screenshots? the site seems to be a bit light on the media front.

if i were to go linux, i've always been a big fan of kubuntu, apparently it's one of the best distro's out there, plus KDE is the best user environment out there (that i've seen)

I like Ubuntu but the KDE implimentation has a lot of bugs in really nasty places for some of the things I like to use. Nothing non fixable but really really annoying ;)

yeah? is that with the KDE4? or back in 3.5.x? ihaven't used the KDE4, but i never ran into any KDE problems.

Have not looked at Mepis for couple of years - it was okay but not up to scratch at that time. I'm a fan of Ubuntu.
