best barlow 1.5x - 2x for DSLR?

can anyone recommend me a good probably 1.5x - 2x barlow for a DSLR?

what brand and model ?

looking to stretch that focal length for those planetarys? IMHO theres only one choice, televue powermates in your case the 2x 2inch version.

In that regards, I've often wondered how well a Canon 2x teleconverter would fare next to a 2x Powermate.

Personally I'd go the TV Powermates.

Hi Eric, don`t have any 2" powermates only the 1-1/4" ones and they are both very nice!
I would think seriously about the 2x canon teleconverter? as you will still be able to use your MPCC with it . With the normal powermates you won`t and coma will be present in the corners of your images.
But don`t buy a cheaper converter as they just can`t cut it..
