Does anyone know of a freeware or at least cheapware program that will allow me to automate exposure runs of say 10 x 6 minute exposures.
the cameras i am using are cannon dslrs 300d and 350d.
thanking you in anticipation.

I use the software that came with my 40D but I don't think it will work with the 300d or 350d.
You could try http://www.stark-labs.com/DSLR_Shutter.html

thanks for your link terry , ive downloaded it,and its free:thumbsup: it has the features i need so heres hoping it works.
the one that came stock standard with mine only does 30 sec exposures.
I've used the software you've downloaded from stark labs. However to go past 30s exposures you'll need a DSUSB adapter. shoestring astronomy make them .

G'Day Terry! Hows life in the fast-moving-cloud lane!?
Is this any good for my application?? Unfortunately i cannot use anything that works on USB2 as i can't get cards (to replace the USB 1.2) for my laptop apparently!

Hi Chris
Yes it would be good but as said above you need a remote control to go beyond 30 secs with that program. You can make them or buy it from shoestring astro.
I'm SICK OF THE CLOUDS!
