Actually, the Satellite features are in 2 parts:

1) Satellites in orbit - what their capabilities are (the "good" and the "bad"...)

2) How to see satellites ourselves (such as ISS).

We didn't cover pirate satellite signals in this issue :)

:whistle: lol , no the scanner is the type that covers police/fire etc frequencies , always wondered wether it would yield sat frequencies/metoer signals... articles sounds interesting :thumbsup:

I'd say about 2 years old, maybe a bit more for my area. There's an extra tree in my front yard that hasn't been there for a while. Cool link though, thanks Ving. :2thumbs:

I'm having a play with Google Earth now actually. The download was disabled for most of the day, only just got my hands on it now :). I had a play with Keyhole, which I understand Google Earth uses the same technology, and it was pretty good but I didn't like the idea of being charged to see Earth. It's a nifty little program. Still can't find my house though...

GoogleEarth is great. Had aplay just now, saw my house and the kids schools and so on...then took a trip to Egypt and had a look at the Pyramids.

It wont zoom in enough for me to see any streets, it says "we don`t have imagery at this zoom level for this region" :(

I know that the images (at least for my area) are later than 2002, but I don't know what time between then.
