Last night while waiting for the sky to get fully dark, I used the Moon to check focus, and I captured some good Avi's of it on my imaging lappy.

Now, this has never happened before but somehow they saved in 'Real Player', and I can't figure out how to get them into my Portable HD to bring them into this pooter for stacking

Real Player seems to have no provision for 'save as' , 'Sent To' or any other way of transferring the Avi files.

Is there a way, please?

Can you open them in Windows Media Player and "save as" from there Ken?
Cheers

No, Doug. They only open in Real Player. I don't even know how they saved in there!

Darren just contacted me and said I should be able to copy them from C:/

Good luck Ken,
Bloody computers - just when you've got them sussed, they play silly buggers on you!!!
Funny, I have`the same problem: ever since I D/Lded Real Player it wants to be the default AVI player - nothing else just AVIs. Doesn't bother me as I'm not doing webcam imaging, but a headscratcher nonetheless!!

Real Player has never opened on me before. But last night that's were the Avi's went. I typed 'Toucam' in the save window which is the folder I always send my Avi's to.
Damn Gremlins again
