Hi Guys,
Would anyone know if the canon 30D or the new 40D works with DSLR Focus?
Thanks.

Nope, not at this stage. You will need FocusAssist. (http://www.xmission.com/~jstanley/focusassist/) and an onscreen magnifier (there are plenty of free ones out there.)

DSLR Remote Pro and Nebulosity i think support those. As well as the more expensive Imagesplus and MaxDSLR.
I also like DSLRLite and there stand alone unit is also good value for what it can do.

Nope.
You might just check about the 40D with DSLR Focus. In my rush to read your thread I read it as 400D. I'm fairly sure though that DSLR Focus doesn't support it.

i meant the 400D not the new 40D. sorry, my title of the thread indicates 40D but i was referring to 400D from the previous post.
