I have justed tried to use DeepSkyStacker (DSS) but I am having trouble.
I am using a Canon 300D and having images in CRW format.
I can load and view the light images in CRW and see colours and details.
I load the dark frames in CRW
I check the frames for processing
Then Stack Check Pictures
The software then goes and does it magic.
The final image is then displayed, but it appears to be in black / grey / white. I can clearly see the image and the details. Using the magification tool I can see colour fringes around the stars, so there is some colour in the image.
Is this normal? It is possible that I may have unintentionaly changed a setting somewhere.
I have visitied the the DSS support / group pages but could not understand their solution about changing values. I have tried processing the image in Photoshop elements but had no success. So hints would be helpful.
Thanks Brendan
