Best way to Parkes?

From North of Sydney-ish?

Whereis is telling me to go over the Bells Line of Road over the Blue Mountains, then Lithgow, Bathurst, Orange then Parkes.

Is this the best way?

Yes, it's the best way Mike - unless you want to go via Singleton, Dunedoo and Dubbo :P

Also try maps.goole.com.au for directions. I've found it to be far better at knowing where end points are (Whereis doesn't know half the places I want to go) and a REALLY useful feature is that you can alter your course by dragging the purple route marker around - and it snaps to new roads and re-calculates the distance/time for you. Pretty impressive stuff!
