Ooh my favourite freeware image manipulation program is on it's third integer release!! I've been using gimp since 2005, fantastic program.

seems to take longer to 'boot up', but much faster once you are 'in'...

all my favourite tools are still there!

Very handy for those wishing to escape Photoshop (I haven't used either it or PhotoShop, so can't comment on how good it is).
