Sbig stt8300 software for ew computer

Hi. I have my old computer (12 yrs) and use this for my SBIG8300M. It runs the camera perfectly through maxim dl6 but I am trying to find the software to put on my new Windows 10 computer and have looked for it online to download but can't find it anywhere. Is it still possible to run this camera on a new laptop? If so could someone point me in the right direction.

hmm took a look on the website doesn't look like you can. there is a note on the website here:


If you purchased a license on our webstore, you will receive two emails. You will first be sent a receipt. This will be followed by an email with your personalized license and a link to download the installer. Important: please save the license email, and print a copy of it for your records. You will need your license if you ever have to reinstall your software.

Might be worth digging through the old emails. otherwise softpedia has it but im not if you should trust a 3rd party website.

I ran my st8300m in nina in December this year. Sbig do have a 64 bit native driver, but they don't advertise it.

These cameras are still awesome performers, it's such a shame that support has kind of gone down the toilet for them..
