Hi guys, I have a Scandisk Extreme Pro SSD Drive connected to my Desktop, and it works a treat.;)

Now I wanted to load some stuff that was on it to my Laptop, but I just cant find it to see what I want to transfer.

Went to device manager and it tells me it is hooked up and all working properly and the drivers are all up to date.

When I click on my PC the main drive comes up but no other, so where would this thing be hiding please.

Some suggestions maybe.

Thank You.

Leon:thumbsup:

Leon are you running Windows 10?
Sorry, I don't play with anything later than Windows 7 (and forget way to much with over 30 years building and repairing PCs and OS related issues (my mind is overloaded with other more important things at the moment)) but I did find some information relating to Win 10 and the problem:

Have a flick through, hopefully it may help.

You might have to open Disk Management & assign a drive letter. 'Shift-Right Click' the start button to get there.

Thanks Dom, that too maybe an option, so far no success with any other suggestions.

Did you have any luck Leon?

Yes, Leo sorry i did not respond earlier, the reason I think it was not visible on the laptop was because on the Desktop where I set it up and put in place a Place word to unlock it so that when i hooked it up to the laptop it wasn't open so to speak and didn't recognize it, I think.

To open it up on the laptop now I have to go through some unlock Procedure, called Scandisk Unlocker, a nuisance but it works.

Thank You for your concern.
